BELOVED NATURAL SPACES​​

I started this documentary photography project in 2018 and it continues over time.

Allotments are plots of land given to local community members so they can grow their own fruit and vegetables. The tradition dates back hundreds of years, to when farmers needed the land as their main source of food. Nowadays allotments are good for people and the environment because they allow you to plant your own food and grow organic vegetables that will also benefit the environment as you help limit the number of pesticides and other harmful chemicals in the soil.
